The NbakaFarmers' village, live in the area between the rivers Ubangui and Lualba, in the north-west of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, starting in the century XIX. The Nbaka o Ngbaka are grouped into a multitude of small distinct and dispersed subgroups that were unified by the colonial administration in a single territory. They have great cultural similarities with their neighbors the Banda.
