Enquiry privacy

Website owner and data controller for enquiries: Yannick Arrimadas Bot.

Yannick Arrimadas Bot is the owner of Arte de África and the controller of personal data received through this website’s enquiry forms. This page explains how those enquiries and their data are handled.

What data we collect

The form asks for your name, email address and message. Country is optional. If you enquire about an object, its reference is checked against the catalogue and saved. The date and your acceptance of this privacy information are also recorded.

How we use the data

To answer your request for information, handle a request concerning your data or consider your interest in a work. Submission requires your consent through a checkbox that is not preselected. It does not create a marketing subscription, reservation, sale or commitment to purchase.

Storage and access

Your enquiry is saved in this website’s private administration system, with access restricted to those responsible for managing it. The administrator notification includes the enquiry code and a link to the dashboard, without the visitor’s name, email address or message. The data is not published in the catalogue or sent to marketing platforms.

The hosting provider supplies the technical services needed to maintain the website and deliver email notifications. It may generate technical logs for operation and protection. The form’s protection uses temporary identifiers; the application does not store the IP address in the enquiry record.

Retention and requests concerning your data

The information is used while your request is being handled. It will not be added to a buyer register without a separate subsequent process. You can request access to, correction or removal of your data through the contact form by selecting “Privacy and personal data” and providing the enquiry code. You may withdraw consent for future communications relating to it.
