Small Bantu ethnic group of farmers and fishermen located in the territory of Budjala, south of Ecuador, and on the banks of the Mbanga river. The definition of fishing areas is the almost permanent conflict with its Mbanza neighbours. Many of its territories have been occupied throughout history by the Tbawa et les Tumbwe. Its most important neighbours are the Luba. There are also representatives of this ethnic group in Zambia. The Kunda their wooden bell, known as the double kunda bell, was known and occupied an important place in most of Congo's religious practices. It was shaped like a hourglass, with a hammer of percussion for each part. He was linked to the cult of spirits and had healing properties. It was mainly used by the Nganga and thanks to this bell it could communicate with the spirits.
