Konda

A small village of the Bantu group in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, north of Lake Mai-Ndombe, Bundundu province, is part of the Mongo ethnic group. They are divided into two separate groups, the Twa which are mainly engaged in agriculture and hunting and the Oto also in agriculture and fishing. Marriage is prohibited within the same caste. They carry out handicrafts, pottery and blacksmiths, highlighting their famous knives.
