Boa

Neighbors Mangbetu and of Zande Inhabit a savannah region north of the DRC. The Boa are related to their neighbors the Mangbetu. They are mainly implanted in the cities of Buta and Mambuesa. It is a society of clany farmers and the power of the peoples is ousted by a leader belonging to one of the most important clans. There are very few known masks of boa, the oldest dating back to the end of the century XIXAnd it seems that it's been a long time since they've sculpted or worn masks. It is estimated that only about twenty masks of which only eight are known for their exact origin have been repertoryed.
