Full original description
Wooden statue of a pygmy smoking his pipe in thoughtful attitude. The thumb and index of the left hand form a circle through which a spear of those used by the guards of buildings or premises in numerous cities in Africa fits perfectly. This is undoubtedly the representation of a guardian. Magnificent expression of the face.
