A traveler of the century XVII The Oba was always accompanied by a domesticated leopard and a dwarf who served as an entertainment.
Dwarfs had a lot of power because they were among the few mortals who could approach the king. They were also part of their entourage and that of the army chiefs, so they held a prominent position in the court.
