Full original description
Good size tubes used in court festivities. They're topped up, with two characters who can represent the real couple. In a lower section there are some "X" that represent the spider typical of the Bamileké, mainly migala, which plays an important role in the administration of justice and in divination. Although it has eight legs, artistically it is not aware of this fact, and it is represented with a variable number of legs. Going down another stretch there is a series of romboidal figures and the lower section is decorated with flowers of four leaves, but they are not clubs. They are carved in wood that perfectly mimics the ivory aged with palm oil. Patina for use.
