Full original description
Protective figure intended to receive worship in the family altars of the Karo, the most sedentary group of all the peoples of the Omo. It is a rough figure, of simple realization, almost infantile. He has a wire rolled around his neck with the rings well placed on one another, the moeadso headdress, very short legs and lacks arms. The face only has eyes and mouth. The neck with vertical stripes and the body is crossed by two geometrical drawings in the lining of "V" with the vertex down. Old patina for use.
