Full original description
Beautiful face of pregnant woman with a sophisticated style of ceremonies that appears very rarely in statues and baulé masks. It is a typical hairstyle of the forest geniuses, four braids erect and knotted on the head. It's a hairstyle of origin. Akan called "long-long", that is, "long length." Original sculpture of a pregnant woman of the settler type. The sculptor has no doubt wanted to represent a female genius that protects fertility. The expression of his face draws attention not only to his beauty but also to his serenity and sweetness.
