Editorial study and sources
Editorial study of the collection · November 1, 2026. The original record is kept in the documentary archive.
Necklace formed by mostly cylindrical beads, strung into a cord that knots and leaves ends of visible fibers. Yellow and blue predominate, combined with red, white and other colors. Several beads show small repeated motifs and floral or mosaic-like compositions.
Its appearance allows them to be compared with vitreous mosaic beads of the millefiori type, represented in the collections of the Corning Museum of Glass. The comparison describes an appearance and a technical family; does not show that these specific accounts are Venetian.
The original record does not record name, culture or country. The material remains to be checked by direct examination, the place of production of the accounts, the history of the assembly and its possible commercial circulation.
