Full original description
Curious and ancient motherhood that breaks the common pattern of the songyé figures. At the base of the neck is displayed a kind of slave that hangs two small and conical breasts. Open mouth, almost rectangular in shape, semi-open eyes within glubulous eye orbits. The hairstyle has a central edge similar to the head of the kifwewé male masks. Hands on a bulging belly announcing their next maternity. Ventral scarifications, dark patina.
