Full original description
The whistle is for the African hunter as important as his hunting weapons, his bow, spear, or old rustic shotgun made by the blacksmith (traite rifle). The whistle serves as a call for numerous animals, modulating their sounds with their hands and mouths. This utensil, usually made of wood, carved, or made of a fresh branch, allows you during hunting to communicate with other hunters, indicating their situation or to announce how you have broken down a piece, to claim help or to indicate that you have to proceed to a certain ritual. The hunter will never leave without his whistle.
This whistle, with a very dark patina, is finished with a Jano face.
