Full original description
Guitar acquired in the mid-1960s in Abidjan. It is formed by the bark of half pumpkin, covered in lambskin, wood and cauries subject with small pieces of leather. These guitars were fashionable at the time in Côte d'Ivoire and although most of them were made for tourists the street musicians reached beautiful sounds with them.
