Full original description

It is one of the few fetishes or protecting divinities of the ethnic group Zaramo. It is used to safeguard the commitments of a wedding and protect the bride and groom. These, badly called fetishes because it is a term that did not exist in Africa, are composed by a multitude of materials such as pumpkins, shells, bones, ropes and sometimes padlocks, all blackened by the libations carried out over time. Normally each of the pieces that form the figure represents a marriage commitment, the dowry being one of the main ones. Piece that accuses the passage of time.
