Full original description
This piece represents a woman with large breasts and bulging belly that are two of the most important signs to express female fertility, a pregnant woman who will be a mother in a short time. Motherhood is the most important thing for African women. The sterile woman or the one who has never been a mother is despised by society and often forced to leave the village is the worst thing that can happen to a woman. The African woman has been born to be a mother and her fertility is compared, in most ethnicities of the West African, to the fertility of the land. And most of the rites in which fertility is worshiped are devoted jointly to soil fertility and female fertility. Time skate.
