Little memorial statue from a small village in Baule. These small pieces, increasingly difficult to find in Africa, were venerated in family altars. Figure that presents an upper part of the body, especially the head, more elaborate and a lower part more roughly carved, sculpted based on geometric lines. Truncated cone breasts, pronounced lips and a sad look. Classical baulé posture. light wood with patina of time.
