Full original description

The mask Ngoin is widespread in almost all the kingdoms of Grassland or Grassfiels, is a feminine mask, with softer features than his opponent masquerading the mask KamThey participate in the funeral honors of the notables. It is a lignerously oval mask, with large eyes and a mouth that draws a smile. The headdress consists of a toad in the central part and two lizards on the sides. The same scene is repeated at the bottom, as the beard of respect with which some notable women are represented. The lizard symbolizes for the ethnicities of Grassland the fruitful powers, the life and rebirth of the kingdom, the agility and vigilance of the king and the notables. Toad represents life and fertility. It appears, like the spider, very often in the objects of these ethnic groups. Dark patina.
