Full original description
It's a mask from the northern part of the country. His head resembles that of the antelope but also that of the buffalo, with broad and flat horns and the open snout. For Guro This antelope is reminiscent of the defass kob or unctuous kob. Despite its harmless and peaceful appearance it can cause the death of women who dare to look at it. This mask belongs to Djyé's male society. Its bearer at the end of a funeral night remains with his assistant in charge of lighting the last fire.
He shows up at the commemorative parties.
