Full original description

Old mask Dan found at the beginning of the sixties of the last century, in the Dan , west of Ivory Coast, by the Valencian forest prospector D. David Alcocer. The vertical nerve that divides the forehead and goes down to the root of the nose is a characteristic of the Dan semi-closed almond eyes. It is the mask that serves as contact between the village and the sacred forest during the retreat of the initiation. Beautiful dark patina with abundant sacrificial remains.
