Full original description

Mask belonging to a society of hunters. This mask was found in the territory Dan early in the decade of the sixties of the last century by the Valencian forest prospector D. David Alcocer. These hunter masks participate, in addition to the rites of their secret society, in funeral ceremonies in honor of the deceased members and notables. Very rare mask, totally unknown. It represents an imaginary animal with strange antelope horns and curious beak-shaped mouth, with human features in the eye area. Patina darkness with sacrificial remains.
