Full original description
Mother with a child sitting at one end of her man leaning the right nao on her head while a second child is sitting next to her right foot, almost on horseback on the footbed. It is worth noting the smallness and simplicity of the appearance of the children with respect to the mother. In the African statuary, it is always a question of extolling the role of the mother, so it always appears as a figure of greater prominence. This sculpture breaks with the traditional way of carrying the son, usually behind his back, so it is a very original work and very careful in the details. Numerous scarifications and ringed neck, which is a symbol of feminine beauty. Hairstyle of great complexity.
