Full original description

Small supply vessel, provided from western Cameroon, in which a small genius of the earth, prospector, appears sitting, contrary to the usual African posture in which the bearer of the cup of offerings presents himself prostrated on his knees. He seems to represent the soothsayer, with a large snake surrounding his neck and whose ends remain within the vessel that serves for divinatory practice. The vessel has no opening and is empty. Three seeds have been inserted on it, symbol of prosperity and life. Brown patina.
