Full original description
Small offering vessel in which the character appears seated, contrary to the usual African posture in which the bearer of the offering vessel presents himself prostrated on his knees. He seems to represent the soothsayer, with a large snake surrounding his neck and whose ends remain within the vessel that serves for divinatory practice. The vessel has no opening and is empty. Three seeds have been inserted on it, symbol of prosperity and life.
