Full original description

Dogon primordial couple, in the classic position of primordial couples in which the man who carries his right hand to the right bosom of his wife. They appear sitting on a high stool. The man has in his left hand a small bag, difficult to interpret. The woman has her daughter on her knees. Rare thing in African art in which the child is presented in an insignificant way with respect to the mother to reaffirm the importance of motherhood, in this case the child keeps adequate proportions and, curiously, is presented with quite developed breasts.
