Full original description
For the Baulé, at birth we leave another family in the other world, in the blolo, and the spouse we have left in that other world may be jealous of the one we have chosen in the earthly world, so a visit is imposed on the soothsayer who will advise the making of a statuette as beautiful as possible that represents the spouse of the hereafter to please him and that favors us. A small ceremony will sign the reconciliation with the husband or wife of the other world. This statuette will remain in a prominent place in the bridal room where you will receive all kinds of care and attention.
