Full original description

Old ashanti stool very worn by use. On these stools I practiced the circumcision of the boys and the excision of the girls. You can see the cuts the knife produced when it fell and it is covered with the blood clotted aged over time. It is an increasingly rare object to find in Africa in these conditions of antiquity and use. Patina gresacea.
