Full original description
Old bronze bracelet made by the beginning of lost wax. From the central part comes out, symmetrically, a couple nomos, man and woman, who symbolize the first couple, the primordial couple of the creation of the world according to the dogon cosmogony. Spirally chiseled circles represent turtles, an animal mediator between heaven and earth, and considered as a divine messenger by the dogons. Very dark patina produced by the course of time.
