Full original description

These canes are called command sticks or ritual sticks indistinctly because they are used by high dignitaries in ethnic ceremonies. The handle of the cane is formed by the female figure who perfectly respects the aesthetic canons of the Baule statuery. The whole staff is artistically carved. Two small masks appear in the lower third. The legs seem to have been restored. Nice patina for use.
