Full original description

River Divinity favoring fishing, which fishermen carry in the boat during fishing. A fisherman carries it under his arm by putting his index finger into an orifice that he carries for this purpose for a better grip. The figure that has the shape of an elongated and thin male mermaid with rather disproportionate arms is supermounted by the typical python snake of the Bidjogo, in this case with a body formed by staggered trunk-conic sections. Outside fishing the figure is kept at the family altar. Black patina with prints of use.
