Full original description

Sitting maternity, with large fallen breasts indicating that she has already been a mother. She has her eyes closed and shows an expression of sweetness. The bulging belly. This type of image of women with large breasts and thick belly are considered maternity in African art, even if they are not accompanied by a child. Ringed neck, habitual in the woman ashantie. It is adorned with a necklace of thick blue and red oval beads. One must consider an important detail and is that it is sitting on a stool or throne liqueurly bent so it may be thought that it is a queen, to whom such seats are reserved. Little scarifications in the belly, practically black patina.
