Full original description
Statue of a woman kneeling with a large cup of offerings that she holds with her hands. His face shows an expression of meditation and recollection. Generous and pointed breasts as usual in dogon art and also in the balmy. In both breasts and also in the belly there is a great triangular scarification with the vertex downwards, formed in turn by small triangles equal to those that form a fringe of ornament in the large cup of offerings. This statue represents an ancestor, a very dark patina.
