Full original description
Curious and rare protective figure TikarCurious for its expression, a woman with a large belly and an androgynous appearance raised to a stool with her hands on her indicated belly, undoubtedly a pregnancy but with a total absence of female breasts. And strange figure because rare are the tikar statues carved in wood. Its fecundated statuettes made of clay are known, as are its numerous bronze figures. Because of her upright position with her hands on the belly, this woman seems to be exalting fertility. The patina that presents, in addition to showing an evident antiquity, indicates that it has been the object of libations and worship.
