Full original description

Normally the primordial couple appears sitting, in this case standing. The man's gesture of passing his arm through the woman's back to almost touching her breast is a typical gesture of the primordial couple. Man appears with quite developed breasts, vestige of the hermaphroditism of the first eight nomos. His navel is over-developed, something common in Africa. They both cover their sex with their hands. They are protective figurines that were introduced into the holes of Bandiagara's fault in the manner of exvotes. Old greenish and brown patina.
