Full original description
Altar formed by a couple of baulé in an attitude of recollection before the drum destined to call the spirits. The figures are made in the purest and most classic style of Baulé. The drum is located, like the pair, on a mound of earth that constitutes the true altar. The drum, in this case, is the means of establishing contact with the spirits, to demand their protection. Old patina for use.
