Full original description

Rural tapiz typical of the Senufo region in northern Ivory Coast. Great color based on natural dyes. Magnificent details depicting a festive scene in a village with exit from the most important masks. To the right of the middle row there is a high dignitary sitting in whose honor the exit of the masks and the musicians has been celebrated. The fabric is made of cotton, made semi-industrially in the village of Waranéné. These fabrics are more fine than the old Korhogo fabrics, of coarse grain, woven in small juxtaposed bands sewn together. These new fabrics allow the creation of finer drawings and higher quality details. The drawing and the ethan colors are handmade.
