Full original description
A remarkable Yoruba cane. These canes, besides serving in divinatory practices, are a symbol of self-restraint. The cane knob represents a character whose characteristic features, simple and sober, clearly mark the characteristic signs of the Yoruba ethnic group. The arms are simulated by two pendants of white and blue beads, two of the preferred colors of the Yoruba.
