Full original description
The baton of a remarkable Yoruba. These canes besides being used in divinatory practices are symbols of authority. It represents a character whose facial features, simple and sober, clearly mark the characteristic signs of the Yoruba ethnic group. The arms are simulated by two pendants of blue and white ceramic beads, two of the colors preferred by the Yoruba.
