Full original description
Representation of a woman of high rank, seated on an Akan throne, symbol of authority and dignity. His hands come together on his belly, on both sides of the navel, in a typical attitude of African maternity homes. The navel is the center of life and fertility. It has scarifications on the breast and on the back, is girded with a double belt and is played with an artistic hairstyle crossed by a transverse strip of hair, with posterior mane diviated by a stripe and topped in trance. Pararate comb of the 1960s, era of the independence of the country. Acquired in Abidjan in that decade.
