Full original description

In the tradition of African art, pregnant women are considered to be mothers, for although the child is not visible as in the usual maternity homes, the child is within the mother's womb. This pregnant woman has a large belly and thick round and prominent breasts, another symbol of pregnancy. His feet are inordinately large. His arms and legs are separated from the body in a rare position in the lobi statuery. The hairstyle forms a kind of striated cap with hair bands that go from front to back. The woman, with a robust complexion, appears in a thoughtful attitude. Patina darkness of time and a fissure, on the left side, which from the head runs through much of the body. And several less important cracks on the right side. Fissures arising in a wood that has been drying through the times.
