Full original description

Representation of a settler in the classic carefree attitude, the left hand in a pocket and the right arm extended along the body, but without touching it. The legs are also separated. You saw long black trousers and white shirt on which you stake a black necklace topped in heart shape. White wristwatch on your left wrist. His white shoes are decorated with black stripes. It is one of the usual positions in which the Baule represented their colonizers. The figure is placed on a socket formed by the same trunk in which the piece has been carved.
